My baby-friend, Olivia, has the most kickin room. I’m so jealous of that 9 month old!

Kiva.org

Emobor Onosigho

Kiva is great. It’s a person-to-person micro-lending site. The idea is, there are people out there in developing worlds who need financial resources to invest in their own businesses. You browse through profiles of various entrepreneurs and decide to loan money to one. Once the money is paid back, you can loan to someone else, donate the money to Kiva, or keep it.  I lent to Emobor Onosigho in Nigeria who has a business selling saris.

What I’m Listening To…

Ozomatli

Ozomatli!

Just got back from seeing Ozomatli (check out this link to hear their tunes)with my awesome friend, Jen.  Ozomatli rocked and it was great to see Jen – plus we were without kids, so we could actually talk like two sane women - what more can one ask for?

Before the concert we went to Maria Maria for dinner – I give it a lukewarm review for shabby service but they had some cool art on the walls.
Jen has some fierce sales skills and was working on getting me to purchase an iPhone – I seriously am considering it :)
